Parry The Sea

Parry the Sea is a 2D underwater roguelite that follows a soldier without a war, who trades the battlefield for the ocean and rediscovers his blade not as a weapon of mass murder, but as a tool of the hunt, cutting through monstrous depths in pursuit of fortune, one perfectly timed parry at a time.

Set in a world after war, where the guns have gone quiet and the cannons have fallen silent, a man who once ended wars with nothing but a sword finds himself without purpose in an age of peace. Settled in a new home by the great waters, he discovers a new one entirely: The use of swords in fishing, directly in the depths of the open sea.

The current prototype allows you to experience underwater combat through timed parrying and dodging, all for goal of beating your record! Future versions will include a fishing port that will act as the weapon market and pre-game lobby.

WASD - Move

E - Skill / Dash

Shift - Sprint

LMB - Counter (Only available within 3 seconds after Parry), Interact

RMB - Parry, Drop Upgrade

ESC - Pause Menu
